Resumen

El objetivo fue evaluar la evidencia disponible sobre las terapias basadas en corporización (embodiment) en personas con trastornos de la conducta alimentaria para el cambio en las variables antropométricas, los síntomas del trastorno de la conducta alimentaria (TCA), la calidad de vida, la adherencia y la aplicabilidad de la intervención. Se realizó una revisión de alcance sobre intervenciones basadas en corporización en TCA; se encontraron cinco estudios longitudinales prospectivos que cumplían los criterios de inclusión. Dentro de las intervenciones utilizadas estaban yoga, meditación y terapia de danza-movimiento. Las terapias centradas en la corporización produjeron mejoras en aspectos afectivos y de autoconciencia de los pacientes, como una disminución de la ansiedad y afectos negativos previos a la alimentación. No se encontraron resultados estadísticamente significativos en relación con medidas antropométricas. No hubo reportes de calidad de vida, adherencia, ni aplicabilidad. Aunque existen resultados alentadores deben hacerse más investigaciones con muestras superiores para obtener resultados más sólidos. Las terapias centradas en la corporización representan una perspectiva prometedora para abordar los TCA, pero se requiere una mayor evidencia para respaldar su efectividad. Se debería explorar otras intervenciones basadas en la corporización para ampliar las opciones disponibles y mejorar la comprensión y el tratamiento de estas patologí
